Preparations for next year’s Olympic cycle race will get under way on September 28.
Elmbridge Council will have a team tidying up the ornamental cherry trees along Hampton Court Way, with volunteers welcome to help.
The road is expected to be a popular viewing spot for next year’s Olympic cycle road race and time trial so the council is working now to remove unruly low growth.
If you want to help, turn up from 10am at the meeting place in Ennismore Gardens.
Tools will be provided and a briefing will take place before work starts.
