Carshalton College are pleased to announce that we now have over 500 apprentices.

New Apprenticeships for this year include Plumbing Level 2 and Carpentry Level 2 which have already enrolled 21 apprentices and an Accountancy Apprenticeship at Level 4. We also run Apprenticeships in Business & Administration, Catering, Electrical, Hairdressing, Health & Social Care, Motor Vehicle and Supporting Teaching & Learning.

We recently piloted a Catering Apprenticeship for Young’s Brewery and as a result of its success the College is now offering to those eligible, an Apprenticeship across all the different Hospitality sectors.

Apprenticeships can make an organisation more effective, productive and competitive by addressing skills gaps directly. They are designed to help employees reach a high level of competency and performance. At Carshalton College we offer state of the art facilities for apprentices to train at including our in house training restaurant, Nightingales and Carpentry, Plumbing and Electrical workshops.

We work with a number of local and national employers including London Borough of Sutton, accountancy firms HLM Andertons and Alliance Health Care, electrical firm Balfour Beatty, Croydon Council, Mitie Engineering, David Lloyd Crèche, car company Wilsons of Epsom and T Brown a Construction organisation.
