BBC presenter and renowned bee keeper, Bill Turnball, will be guest of honour at this year’s Ladies Autumn Lunch at Epsom Racecourse in support of the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation (QEF) Neuro Rehabilitation Service.

About 400 people are expected to attend the event the Duchess Stand at Epsom Racecourse on Thursday, October 13, where they will be able to enjoy 50 stalls packed with unique and interesting goods and a fabulous lunch, as well as the chance to meet Turnball in person.

After joining the BBC Breakfast team in 2001, Turnball was a contestant in the 2005 series of Strictly Come Dancing paired with Karen Hardy and finished sixth out of 12 contestants.

A keen beekeeper, his first book, The Bad Beekeepers Club, was recently published and Turnball be signing copies at the lunch with a percentage of the sales donated to QEF.

He said: "I am delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile cause and the impressive work being done by QEF."

All proceeds raised from the event will go towards supporting the rehabilitation of young people who have acquired brain injury though illness or trauma.
