Fire crews from West Norwood, Norbury, Tooting and Clapham were called to a blaze at a house in Streatham last night.
Firefighters attended the fire at a semi-detached house on Heathdene Road shortly after 11.50pm but put out the flames within 15 minutes.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said the roof of the house was badly damaged but fire crews stopped the fire from spreading to neighbouring houses.
No one was injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
