Commuters are facing delays this evening due to signal problems in the Sutton area.
Services through the station are facing delays of around 30 minutes, including trains to Croydon, Wimbledon and Victoria.
A statement from Southern Railway said: "Passengers should expect delays of 30 minutes with the possibility of short notice diversions, alterations and cancellations.
South West Trains, First Capital Connect, Tramlink and London buses are accepting Southern tickets on all reasonable routes.
"We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing."
