A cyclist was hospitalised after a crash in West Ewell.
The incident happened at about 8.30am this morning (Thursday, September 29) when a black Mercedes collided with a cyclist on Chessington Road, at the junction of Lansdowne Road in West Ewell.
The man was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting with serious leg injuries.
Emergency services remain at the scene and are investigating the cause of the crash.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “ Ambulance crews were called shortly before 8.30am today to reports of an RTC involving a vehicle and a bicycle on Chessington Rd, West Ewell. "The cyclist, who suffered serious leg injuries was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.”
