Auditions are being held this month to find Wandsworth's young performer of the year.

Singers, dancers, actors and musicians can all compete for the title, with the final taking place in December at Wandsworth Civic Suite.

The performers must be aged 14 to 19 and live in Wandsworth, or go to school, college or a youth club in the borough.

Acts selected by the auditions panel have the opportunity to attend a further development workshop, where industry professionals are on hand to polish performances for the final.

Auditions are being held on the following dates: October 12 at TRC, Alma Road from 5pm to 7.30pm. October 20 at Tooting Hub, Beechcroft Road from 5pm to 7:30pm. October 29 from 12pm-4pm at Battersea Arts Centre, Lavender Hill.

Successful performers need to be available on November 12 and 26 for workshops and rehearsals.
