Firefighters rescued a man who trapped his head trying to climb into his fourth storey flat window.
Crews from Kingston and Surbiton were called to the embarrassing incident in Crescent Road, Kingston, at about 2am on Wednesday, September 21, by the man’s flatmate.
They found he had come back that morning, forgotten his keys and tried to reach into a small bathroom window and let himself in, according to Kingston firefighters.
Although the window was four storeys above the ground, the man only climbed one floor into the split level flat. He was eventually released by a crew using a ladder reaching up to the fourth floor and prising him out.
