Sun-seekers flocked to Merton's green spaces this weekend to soak up record-breaking rays.
Temperatures in London hit 29 degrees on Saturday - a record for the month of October - but are expected to fall to about 12 degrees by Friday.
Last week the London Ambulance Service said the unusual blast of hot weather had sparked a 25 per cent increase in 999 calls.
A spokesman for the service said the heat caused problems for people with pre-existing conditions like asthma, as well as dehydration in those who stayed in the sun for too long.
