A dog owner had to be taken to hospital after he was bitten by his own dog.
The 25-year-old man was attacked on Thursday at Streatham Common station, Greyhound Lane at about 8.10pm.
Lambeth police officers attended the scene after reports of a dog being dangerously out of control, and found the man suffering from serious leg injuries.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance service said the victim was taken to St George’s hospital.
Police said the dog was later destroyed with his consent.
