Irene Geary knocks a century
A Sutton woman has celebrated her 100th birthday in hospital.
Irene Geary, a former audio typist, enjoyed the day with family and friends at her bedside.
The great grandmother has recently been treated in St Anthony's Hospital but has since moved to a nursing home in Cheam.
Daughter, Jennifer Duplain said she is looking forward to getting her mother home.
She said: "It will be great when she comes home so we can all be together again."
