A nine-year-old girl has landed a role in a touring West End show after her first audition.
Ameerah Falzon-Ojo, who is from Leatherhead and attends Ewell Grove School, is currently touring with Roger and Hammerstein’s South Pacific and has also secured a place at the Lion King Cub School.
She will now train with the Lion King's directors every week for three months after which they will decide if she is ready to play the lead role of Young Nala.
Ammerah has been training with Stagecoach Epsom for the last five years.
Principal at Epsom Stagecoach, Ellie Scott, said: "Ameerah has come so far in her five years with us and I knew that I had to start sending her to auditions and then at her first audition she landed the part straight away."
