Two attempted murder charges have been dropped against three men who deny shooting a five-year-old girl.

Nathaniel Grant, 20, from Camberwell, Kazeem Kolawole, 19, of Black Prince Road, Lambeth, and Anthony McCalla, 19, of Oakdale Road, Streatham, were arrested following a shooting at a Stockwell shop that left Thusha Kamaleswaran paralysed.

She is believed to be London's youngest victim of gun crime.

The men, who remain in custody, still stand accused of the attempted murder of Shaun Bryan, and face two charges for possession of a firearm.

They appeared via video-link at the Old Bailey and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

A trial is due to take place in January.
