A businesswoman is holding a fashion auction to help tackle human trafficking.
Linda Potgieter, 39, from Cobham, has asked friends to take to the catwalk to raise money to tackle forced prostitution.
She said: “I have a strong faith and heard about what trafficking was all about and the problems right under our noses.”
Last year a madam and her boyfriend were found guilty of running a £1m brothel empire, including one behind Surbiton station, using trafficked women.
The auction will take place at Kings Gate Church in Clarence Street at 1.30pm on November 5.
Money from the £5 ticket sales will go to the William Wilberforce Trust and Stop the Traffik.
