A man in his 30's was arrested this morning following a police raid which found drugs and a horde of weapons in his flat.
Officers from Nightingale and Bedford and Tooting Safer Neighbourhoods Team (TSNT) carried out a warrant at the flat in Bedford Hill, Tooting.
A quantity of cannabis and ecstasy tablets were found on a kitchen table and hidden in the cupboard of the flat.
Police officers found a cross-bow, samurai swords, rifles and home-made weapons whilst searching for drugs.
A dangerous dogs team also dealt with a dog in the upmarket flat, which sported a hot-tub in the back garden.
A dozen police officers were involved, who executed the raid after receiving a tip-off.
The man, who lived alone in a self-contained flat, has been arrested for drugs offences and has been taken to a South London police station for further questioning.
Inspector Ian Burton, of TSNT said: "It is an example of a local neighbourhood team working with the community after receiving intelligence about criminal activity and taking action quickly.
"We obtained a warrant to search the premises and as a result one male has been arrested for drugs offences."
