The Epsom Guardian has received reports of a knife incident in Leatherhead last night.
The attack is reported to have happened at about 9pm in Gaveston Road when a youth, allegedly ‘high on drugs’, brandished an 8 inch knife and attempted to force entry into a home threatening to kill its occupants. The man was reported to be outside of the property 'screaming and shouting threats of stabbing and killing' along with three other people.
The window of the front door was allegedly smashed in but the youth did not gain entry and it is believed he was eventually restrained by a member of the household and later apprehended by police.
No one is believed to have been injured.
Police are known to have been in attendance and are understood to have been at the scene again today.
We are awaiting police confirmation of exactly what happened. Do you know more?
