Valuable jewellery has been stolen from two homes on consecutive days.

Surrey Police issued an appeal for witnesses to the thefts in Esher and East Molesey.

Thieves targeted a property in New Road, Esher, at some point between 7.30pm and 11.30pm on Friday, January 20.

The thieves gained entry to the address through a bathroom window before stealing cash and various items of jewellery including rings, bracelets and necklaces.

The next burglary took place at an address in Hampton Court Avenue, East Molesey, between 2.45pm and 5.45pm on Saturday, December 21.

The thieves gained access to the property by smashing a patio door in at the back of the address before stealing various items of jewellery.
