A pensioner has died after a two vehicle collision with a single decker coach.
The smash happened at about 1.10pm today (February 2) when a blue Honda Jazz collided with a single decker coach while travelling along Randall’s Road in Leatherhead. Fire crews attended the scene and cut free the woman who was in her 70s and a passenger in the Honda.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to Kings College Hospital by air ambulance where she later died.
The driver of the Honda was taken to St Helier Hospital with minor injuries and the driver of the coach was also treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Road closures are currently in place along Randalls Road and Cleeve Road.
