Food lovers are in for a treat when Streatham hosts its annual culinary festival.
The week-long Streatham Food Festival includes, free food, tastings, cooking contests, open air markets, food demonstrations and workshops.
Highlights include a pasta making class at Bocca, The Railway’s independent Ale festival, and the Earl Ferris pie eating competition.
Running from March 24 to 31, restaurants will also be running a series of special offers and events, including a collaboration with the Odeon cinema to offer set price menus with a movie.
Home cooks can also showcase their talents through a number of competitions and challenges. Friends of Streatham Common have put out a call for participants in a Cake baking contest, while a Jubilee Cake Decorating competition will also take place.
