Make your own skincare products at a herbal apothecary in Claygate.
Medical herbalist Elaine Cole will be holding a workshop at Botanica Medica, on Saturday, April 21, at 2.30pm.
The workshop will show you how to create products using herbal oils and natural fragrances that are tailor-made to suit your skin.
Mrs Cole said: “Branded skincare products are heavily marketed with amazing beauty claims but if you look under the list of ingredients, many are chemicals.
“The beauty benefits of plants are well documented and the raw materials can be sourced from small, independent manufacturers, costing a fraction of the price of a branded super-cream.
“But the real benefit is that by becoming familiar with natural skincare ingredients you can create a unique product that suits your skin type.”
