A man charged with stabbing two women at a beauty salon in broad daylight has pleaded guilty and will be sentenced on April 20.
Julian Hickman, 40, of The Dell, Tadworth, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and to common assault at Guildford Crown Court on Friday.
He has been remanded in custody.
Hickman attacked his victims at 10am on January 7, at Mon Amie in Cockshott Road, Reigate.
One woman, believed to have worked at the salon, suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries to her neck whilst a second woman, understood to be her daughter, suffered minor lacerations.
Both were taken to East Surrey Hospital for treatment.
