Crystal Palace supporters are earning themselves a reputation as some of the best in the country and now we want you to help us find the top Eagles fanatic.

Once again, we are looking for the most dedicated Palace supporter who jumps through hoops to support the Eagles – whether that be making flags for the Holmesdale Stand or not missing a match for 30 years.

If you know someone that fills that criteria or has done something even more remarkable toward the Palace cause, then why not nominate them, or even yourself, for the Croydon Guardian sponsored Crystal Palace fan of the year.

Last year’s winner was Adrian McCulloch, who completed a pledge he made on his 50th birthday to go to every Palace game in the 2010-2011 campaign – a feat he achieved when he took in his 56th game of the season in the final day match with Nottingham Forest.

You have until April 18 to send your nomination, complete with pictures and why you think your nominee should win, to gmoody@lon don.newsquest.co.uk.

The winner will receive two tickets to sit on our table at the Crystal Palace player of the year awards on May 12.

The growing reputation of Palace fans as some of the best in the country was boosted again on Saturday when more than two thousand travelled to Derby County for the second Palace on Tour Day.
