A man has reportedly been exposing himself around Greenshaw Woods.
Police have been carrying out uniformed and plain clothes patrols in the woods near St Helier Hospital.
Reports to police tend to be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday lunchtimes.
The man is described as white, slightly tubby, aged 40-75, with white hair.
He wears a blue fleece and a blue baseball cap; neither with a logo on them.
St Helier Hospital is aware of the police investigation.
Detective Inspector Sarah Rees, of Sutton CID, said: "We are following up a number of lines of enquiry to catch this individual.
"But we want to hear from you if you are aware of a man matching this description who tends to be absent from work or home at these times.
"If you have any information that could help us with our enquiries, please contact Sutton Police Station on 101. If you see anyone acting suspiciously then please call police on 999."
