I hope with the pending rise in stamps that the Royal Mail in my area may decide to offer a better and more professional delivery service.

I have lived in Raynes Park for the last 12 years and, for at least ten of them, the wrong mail comes to my property and likewise my mail goes to the opposite property.

I have made several complaints; for a few months all goes well and then back to the normal poor service.

I have even had the same item of mail delivered to the incorrect address twice before finally reaching me.

I have said to Royal Mail in the past that, if there was another domestic postal service, I would use it as I feel the service they offer is atrocious and leaves a lot to be desired.

But, of course, with very little (if any) competition, they can get away with offering a second-class service at first-class cost.
