Police seized two dogs after raids on homes in Wallington.
The pitbull style dogs were seized from an address off Woodcote Road, Wallington, and another in Merlin Close, on the Roundshaw Estate this morning.
The officers were acting on information from members of the public following concerns about dangerous dogs in the area.
The dogs were taken to secure kennels where they will be examined to determine whether they are illegal breeds.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Status Dogs Unit are due to appear in front of Wimbledon Magistrates Court tomorrow asking for the possible neutering, micro chipping and registration of the dogs.
