Couple in court charged with murder
A man and a woman have appeared in court charged with the murder of a New Addington man.
Couple Jason Lodge, 38, and Cherry Gilmartin, 36, both of Uvedale Crescent, New Addington, are charged with the murder of David Petch.
The pair spoke only to confirm their names, date of births and addresses, at the brief hearing at Bromley Magistrates Court.
Both were dressed in a grey jumper and white trousers.
Mr Petch, 55, was found injured outside his home in Wayside, New Addington, at about 11.50pm on April 14.
He was taken to hospital where he died yesterday.
Mr Lodge and Miss Gilmartin were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on July 25.
