A radio DJ, a comedian and two soap actors joined scores of dancers in a marathon charity zumba class on Sunday.
Disc jockey Eddie Kadi, comedian Jocelyn Essien and Eastenders actors Tameka Empson and Charles Venn strutted their stuff in a routine at the Crystal Palace Sports centre.
The two-hour event, which hoped to raise £10,000 for the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT), included salsa, meringue and samba inspired dance moves.
Beverley De-Gale OBE, the charity’s co-founder, said: “It was a perfect family day out- group exercise on mass whilst learning about the importance of becoming an active donor across bone marrow, blood and organ donation.”
