Paramedics are treating patients at a busy junction where a car hit a pedestrian in Streatham.

Traffic is blocked both ways on Mitcham Lane following the incident at 3.30pm at the junction with Babington Road.

There is also congestion on Streatham High Road towards Kingscourt road.

In a separate incident earlier today, three people were taken to hospital after a tree fell on a car in Tulse Hill.

Three ambulance crews and an air ambulance were called to the junction of Christchurch Road and Norwood Road at about 1pm, where they found the victims suffering from neck injuries.

A spokeswoman said one man was taken to St George’s Hospital for further treatment, while another man and a woman were taken to King’s College Hospital.

Motorists are being advised to expect delays on the A205 Tulse Hill towards Thurlow Park Road. Did you see what happened?
