People say not many people are going out but that’s not true. People are still going out. They’re just maybe finding cheaper places to go.

Two Saturdays ago Kingston Wetherspoon’s had the busiest Saturday in its history. I don’t know why.

It was chaos but it was a busy day crowd, afternoon crowd and evening crowd.

This Saturday will probably be busier with the Champions League Final, a big rugby match and Wembley play-off finals. It will probably be the busiest we have ever had.

It is not the Friday nights that are the busiest, it’s the Saturday nights with the stag nights and hen nights.

They dress up with different costumes and are, quite interesting, let’s say.

I think there’s a great crowd honestly and the bars are quite popular. Kingston has got many different types of bars, clubs and pubs to suit everybody.

There is a lot of drinking but you find that in London, Leicester Square, any major city. We do see trouble every now and again but it is a good type of environment.

It is tiring but it is fun.

I enjoy being in Kingston and living nearby and working here. It is a good vibe.
