A sea of emerald green is expected when Irish day returns to Sandown Park racecourse on Saturday, June 16.
The day always attracts top jockeys from both sides of the Irish Sea and, with dancing, entertainment and music from the Emerald Isle, the flavour of the event is unmistakable.
Irish dancers will welcome racegoers to the course with performances from the group Ceolsha Dance, whose career incorporates the most successful stage show - Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance and Riverdance.
There will also be live music from Celtic pop band Rollercoaster to get the crowd rocking as the sun goes down. Turn up in emerald green clothing and get £5 off the entry price to the Grandstand enclosure.
There is also afternoon racing on Friday June 15, with the first race at 2.20pm.
