Schoolchildren with a talent for singing have been handpicked to perform at a prestigious choral concert.
The Inner Voices Choir, which includes pupils from Bishop Thomas Grant in Streatham and The Norwood School, West Norwood, will sing with the Voce Chamber Choir at St Luke’s Church in Chelsea on June 30.
The choir, founded by Streatham music teacher Edward Watkins, previously performed a 20 minute set at the Mayor of London’s St George’s Day Festival in Trafalgar Square in April.
Ashley Lewis, student at The Norwood School, said: "The choir has matured a lot of people musically.
"Music has always been a passion but it's stimulated my musical flair.
"We've come a long way since we began and I feel proud."
