Surrey Police have appealed for witnesses after a serious accident on the M25 near Wisley on Sunday, June 17.

Officers were called shortly after 2.30pm to a two-vehicle collision on the clockwise carriageway involving a military truck and a silver BMW car.

The BMW then collided with the central reservation.

The driver of the BMW suffered a serious head injury and was taken to hospital.

The air ambulance also attended and the anti-clockwise carriageway was closed for a short time to allow it to land.

Witnessed are asked to call Surrey Police’s collision investigation unit on 101, quoting reference P12172045.
