A man was arrested after a police raid discovered 20 young cannabis plants growing in a loft.
The plants, believed to be for personal use, were uncovered during a pre-planned raid at Whitland Road, Carshalton, on Friday, June 15.
After a tip-off, officers knocked on the door at 8am before carrying out the search.
A man in his early 40s was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and has been bailed to return in August.
St Helier safer neighbourhood sergeant Barry Lauder said: "Police treat all reports of crime from the local community seriously and will always act on such information promptly."
