I am a resident of Murray Road North and we have not been consulted about recent proposed road restrictions in Wimbledon Village.
This scheme will restrict our movements and drive the traffic into outlying roads, so why does the council think it knows better than the people who live in this area?
The council spokeswoman said the restrictions would “allow children to play safely in these roads”. What rubbish.
Why not ban cars from here and then we can all play in the road?
