A sound engineer has landed a spot in a sporting feature film after its director overheard him recording his latest track.
Fast Girls, written and starring Noel Clarke who also penned Kidulthood, follows the story of a young street runner and was largely shot at Wimbledon Studios and other south London locations.
Pete Rolls, 38, director of Wimbledon Sound at the studios, was putting the final touches to a new track when director Regan Hall happened to pass by.
Mr Rolls said: "I was finishing my track 'BZerQ - Style' right underneath the Fast Girls production office.
"Regan came down to see what was going on with all the bass.
"By the time he got to my window he was nodding away and asked me to send the track over to the music supervisor for the film.
"A few months later I received an email asking to use [it] in a party scene."
Fast Girls is in cinemas now.
