Residents can get free home insulation after the launch of a new council scheme.
Working alongside Climate Energy, Croydon residents can benefit from free installation of cavity wall and loft insulation.
All Croydon homeowners and private residents can apply for the offer, regardless of income, savings or if any benefits are claimed. To arrange a survey residents can call free on 0800 358 6663.
Councillor Jason Perry, cabinet spokesperson for planning, regeneration and transport, said: "According to The Energy Saving Trust, the average home in the UK could save around £300 a year on energy bills by installing basic energy saving measures such as loft and cavity wall insulation.
“In these difficult economic times it makes sense to take advantage of this great offer which will not only save residents money but also make their homes greener for the future."
