Students have celebrated successful International Baccalaureate (IB) results this summer.

An impressive 61 students from ACS Cobham International School in Portsmouth Road, Cobham, received their IB Diplomas, with 45 per cent of the results at grade six and seven, the equivalent of A and A* at A-Level.

More than 100 advanced placement (AP) results were achieved, including 22.81 per cent being grade fives, the highest score available. The AP enables students to gain college credit to study in the US.

Craig Worthington, IB co-ordinator at ACS Cobham, said: “This year’s graduates have been a tremendous example to others in the school, and the IB results show how academically they have raised the standard at ACS Cobham once again.”
