BROMLEY police have been helping with the search for missing 12-year old girl Tia Sharp.

Tia went missing from her grandmother's house on Friday in New Addington, Croydon.

Her uncle David Sharp yesterday appealed for Tia to return.

Mr Sharp said: "Tia please come home. You are not in trouble - please call us or call the police. I would like to thank the police and the public - everyone is doing everything they can. Please don't stop."

Last night Tia's family held a candlelit procession to encourage her to return home. Police are continuing to search the local area and scour CCTV images.

Tia was wearing French Connection glasses and had her hair tied back.

She had no phone or Oyster card on her when she left and had just £10 in her pocket.

She was also wearing worn leopard-skin leggings, a yellow top and black and pink Nike trainers. She is slim, white and around 4ft 5in.

Anyone with information about Tia's whereabouts should call 020 8721 4005 or Missing People on 116 000.
