A woman thought to be in her 30s has died after she was hit at a train at Surbiton station.
Paramedics were called to the station after a person was hit at about 8.30 pm yesterday evening.
They treated a woman, believed to be in her 30s, who was having a heart attack with injuries to her head and arm.
She was taken to St George’s Hospital as attempts were made to resuscitate her but was later pronounced dead, British Transport Police confirmed.
Commuters faced delays of up to 30 minutes until about 11pm as a result of the incident.
