Croydon woman named as car crash victim

A woman who died in a car collision just over a week ago has been identified.

Collette Doyle, 56, was taken to a south London hospital on Thursday 9 August after her car collided with another vehicle in Coombe Road, Croydon.

She died in hospital on 14 August, her family have been informed.

A post-mortem was carried out at Croydon Coroner’s Office on Wednesday 15 August and the cause of death was multiple injuries.

No arrests have been made but officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses.
