Transport back to the 60s with the authentic sound of popular Rolling Stones tribute band, The Rollin’ Stoned, when they play at the Eeel Pie Club in Twickenham next month.

In celebration of Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary, the band will play two hours of the best of 1964-1969, including: Jumping Jack Flash, Brown Sugar, Paint It Black, Get Off My Cloud, It’s All Over Now, Under My Thumb, Let’s Spend the Night Together, Satisfaction and many more classics.

The group puts on a lively show featuring extravagant costume changes, which recall the raw and basic early Stones.

The bravado of the musicians, who tackle the most difficult live numbers, has won praise from the real Stones, who booked them for the band’s birthday.

Keith Richards’ mother said the band were “outstanding and suitably fit stand-ins for the Stones”.

The Rollin’ Stoned, the Eel Pie Club at the Patch, London Road, Wednesday, September 12, 8.30pm, £11/£13. Advance booking advised. Call 08444 771000 or visit weelpieclub.com.
