Missing teen believed to be in Croydon
8:40am Monday 10th September 2012 in News By Nick Hitchens
Sonia Dredger
Police believe a Sussex teenager missing for more than three weeks could be in the Croydon area.
Sonia Dredger, 14, was last seen at 5.25pm on Tuesday August 22 in Sedlescombe Road South, Hastings, with a teenage boy.
She is described as mixed race, about 5 ft 3 in, slim with shoulder length straight black hair and brown eyes.
She was wearing a royal blue quilted jacket with no sleeves, a white vest top, grey snake skin design leggings and grey trainers. She speaks with a London accent.
A police spokesperson said: "We are concerned for the welfare of Sonia.
She has links to the Newham area of East London, where she used to live, and through our investigations we believe she may now be in Croydon.
"We would also like to hear from the teenager who may have been with Sonia when she was last sighted.
“If anyone has seen her or knows of her whereabouts, please contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting 1743 of 22 August."
