Truck and crane found in Croydon after being stolen from Beddington last month

18 tonne stolen truck recovered
Police have recovered a 18 tonne crane which was stolen from a timber merchants.
The £60,000 DAF drop-side truck and 18 tonne crane was stolen from Bromley Timber Merchants on Beddington Trading Park in the early hours of August 21.
The lorry was found in the car park of John Lewis, Purley Way, Croydon, a week later.
A member of staff at the store phoned Sun Rent, whose markings are on the lorry.
Officers arranged for the vehicle to be taken to a police car pound whilst the police investigation continues.
A second vehicle - a white Ford rigid lorry valued at £20,000 - which was also stolen, remains missing.
This vehicle had been hired from another company - SIXT Kenning.
