An environment group turned a street into a giant swap shop.
Neighbours in Blandford Road, Teddington, rummaged through their lofts and sheds to find things they no longer wanted and left them on display at the end of their driveways.
The Teddington Society’s environment group said the event, on Saturday, September 8, was a great way to recycle.
Shoppers took away for free items including bikes, books, toys and tools.
Liz Butler said: “The atmosphere was great and I chatted with people I had never spoken to before, in spite of having lived in Blandford Road for 24 years.
“And I never knew that I had four garden forks and four garden spades until I started hunting for things. I also discovered two unused bicycles - amazing what you find when you look.”
