The new owners of the Nestlé tower have released images of how they hope to create a three tier 288-home residential block.
Legal & General Property unveiled its proposals for the refurbishment of St George’s House, Park Lane in East Croydon, with a public exhibition yesterday morning.
The refurbishment, after the company bought the site earlier this year, would change the current use of St George’s House from predominantly office floor space to residential use, with community and retail uses at ground level and gardens at roof top level for residents.
The 24 storey tower block and adjoining five storey building is home to Nestlé UK Headquarters.
Legal & General Property will take ownership of the site when Nestlé vacates later this year.
Plans are expected to go before Croydon Council later this year
