Three taken to hospital after collision in Purley

Firefighters from Purley and Croydon were called to the scene
Three people were taken to hospital after a collision in Purley on Saturday.
Firefighters from Purley and Croydon were called to Brighton Road at the junction with Christchurch Road at about 4pm.
Three cars were involved in the collision but all three passengers who were injured had got out of their cars before firefighters arrived.
One Purley firefighter said: "All three were concious and breathing, their injuries were cuts and bruises and not severe. We administered first aid until the ambulance arrived and made the area safe."
The two crews left the scene after an hour.
A spokesman for London Ambulance said: "We sent three ambulance crews and a single responder in a car.
"We treated three patients they were all collared and boarded and taken to Croydon University Hospital for treatment."

If so, then perhaps the council and/or police ought to take a careful look at why
