A tram has collided with a mobility scooter on George Street.

Ambulance workers were called to the scene at the junction of George Street and Wellesley Road in Croydon town centre just before 3pm to reports of an incident involving a tram and a mobility scooter.

A 75-year-old woman was treated for a minor injury. She is set to be take to Croydon University HospitaL
