A star-studded fashion show in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association was hosted by Lucinda's of Purley on Monday.

The event at Surrey National Golf Club, was opened by guest speaker Gloria Hunniford, while Dancing on Ice star Laura Hamilton, modelled dresses at the event.

Fashions from Lucinda's smart casual, lunch and wedding, prom dress and evening wear collections were modelled at the fundraiser, which was organised and hosted by Novello Noades, wife of former Crystal Palace chairman Ron Noades.

As well as the fashion show showcasing Lucinda's Autumn collection, there was also an auction and a raffle to help boost donations for the charity.

Mary Coughlan, owner of Lucinda's said: "It was a very fun evening, the atmosphere was electric.

"We had a fantastic raffle with lots of prizes, everyone was saying it was the best show we have ever had and we have been here since 1986.

"The place was buzzing."

An exact amount of the money raised has yet to be calculated.
