Croydon Police appeal for witnesses after Monday night stabbing near Long Lane Woods

The stabbing took place at Long Lane Woods on Monday night
Police are appealing for witnesses after an 18-year-old man was stabbed near Long Lane Woods.
The man was found with a stab wound to his abdomen after police and London Ambulance were called to the scene at 7.20pm on Monday evening.
He was taken to hospital and is currently in a stable condition. No arrests have been made.
DC Paul Barham, from Croydon CID who is investigating the incident said: "We're appealing for anyone in the area who may have seen something to get in touch with us.
"This incident took place fairly close to Arena tram stop, so people travelling home at the time might have seen or heard something that could help us with the investigation and find who is responsible for this."
