School pupils had the opportunity to play on some of the world's finest violins.
Students at Trinity School, in Shirley Park, were given the opportunity to play Stradivari and Guarneri (Del Gesu) violins and a Tecchler cello last week.
Professor Eduard Wulfson of Strad Europe brought the violins made by Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarneri (Del Gesu), two of the greatest master violin makers of all time.
As well as giving a lecture about the violins, Prof Wulfson also gave a demonstration before some pupils were offered the chance to play them.
Cristian Persinaru, head of strings at Trinity School, said: "This was a special experience for our pupils.
"The majority of them would have had the chance to hear a famous musician performing on one of these violins, but to hold one, to play one and to learn about these unique instruments, was something they will always remember."
